Still Can’t Open Your File?
If none of these programs can open your file, make sure you’re reading the file extension correctly. It’s possible that you’re just misreading the suffix and thinking that your file belongs to the same format as MOGG files when really it’s entirely different.
For example, some files, like MGO (MacGourmet Recipe) files,
share some of the same file extension letters but have nothing to do with any MOGG format.
Similar is the MOGRT file extension that’s used for Adobe Motion Graphics Template files. While the file extension might closely resemble MOGG, the format is actually only usable with Adobe Premiere Pro.
MagGourmet Recipe files is one last example. They use the MGO file extension and are used with the MacGourmet Deluxe program.
If it’s not already clear, the idea here is to identify the file extension and then research the one your file is using.
That’s the easiest way to learn what format the file is in and ultimately, the program that can be used to open or convert the file.
